中國儲能網(wǎng)訊：日前據(jù)悉，Greensmith能源公司與德國E.ON Climate＆Renewables公司（EC&R）開展合作，在美國德克薩斯州建成了兩個9.9兆瓦的電網(wǎng)儲能系統(tǒng)。
該系統(tǒng)在應對德克薩斯州近期的寒流發(fā)揮了重要的作用，為德克薩斯電力可靠性委員會（ERCOT）提供了短期電力。
這個位于德克薩斯州羅斯科附近的249MW的 Pyron風力發(fā)電場和197MW的 Inadale風力發(fā)電場為這兩臺9.9兆瓦短時波浪發(fā)電儲能設施供電。其先進的儲能系統(tǒng)可以編程為多種應用，包括快速響應需求變化、電力質量和整體電網(wǎng)可靠性。
Greensmith 能源公司利用業(yè)界領先的GEMS軟件平臺，為整個系統(tǒng)生命周期提供實時監(jiān)控、集成控制、系統(tǒng)優(yōu)化與安全性，為這兩個儲能系統(tǒng)提供設計、集成和調(diào)試服務。

Greensmith Energy starts operations at Texas Waves Energy Storage project

W?rtsil?'s Greensmith Energy has completed two 9.9MW grid-scale energy storage systems in partnership with E.ON Climate & Renewables in the US state of Texas.
The system already responded to the recent cold snap in Texas, delivering short term energy to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
The two 9.9MW, short-duration Texas Waves storage facilities are fed by E.ON’s 249MW Pyron and the 197MW Inadale wind farms, both near Roscoe, Texas. The advanced energy storage systems are programmed for multiple applications including rapid response to shifts in demand, power quality and overall grid reliability.
Greensmith Energy provided the design, integration and commissioning of the turn-key energy storage systems, leveraging the company’s industry-leading GEMS software platform that provides real-time monitoring, integrated control and system optimization and safety throughout system life.
E.ON Climate & Renewables Energy Storage North America vice president Mark Frigo said: “The Texas Waves project demonstrates our commitment to delivering clean energy in Texas as the battery energy storage systems will be charged from our wind farm facilities near Roscoe, Texas.
“Our partnership with Greensmith ensured we delivered another successful project in record time.”

The Texas Waves projects represent a total of three successful energy storage systems installed by E.ON and Greensmith Energy including Iron Horse in Arizona, a solar hybrid energy storage system for Tucson Electric Power.
